Our product is is an electronic medication dispenser that automates medication sorting, reminding and dispensing. It aims to deliver convenience and improve medication adherence, which has been identified by the World Health Organization as a global issue that requires attention.
Selected from close to 100 ideas, our team won the top prize of S$50,000 in seed funding at a business competition organised by major uni and organisationsthat focuses on developing solutions for the elderly.
One of the judges was Dr. W. H., who is well known for his pioneering work on cancer, HIV/AIDS, and genomics, and has been listed by Time Magazine as one of the world's 25 most influential business people.
The team is using the S$50,000 to develop a prototype. We have received an endorsement from several healthcare organisations, and are currently in early discussions with Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Changi General Hospital on a project collaboration.
You are expected to use rapid prototyping software to come up with mockups of UI for three main users: healthcare professional (HCP), caregiver, and the elderly user
