The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a vendor to provide the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) with technical support and consulting services, specifically for the office premises. The BMDP needs to find a vendor for technology procurement, system support, as well as end-user assistance and office support.

As soon as the BMDP chooses a local support vendor, one
of the first projects will be to assess the office’s local area network; and work to provide a more
stable, secure and productive office network computing environment.
Successful proposals will provide a concise yet detailed description of the vendor’s ability to
satisfy the objectives and requirements of the project as defined within the RFP.
The review process will include evaluations of the responses for accuracy, completeness, clarity and
demonstration of the organization’s ability to respond to the needs of the BMDP.
The Vendor must be reliable and responsive in terms of the dedication of its manpower resources,
commitment of time, and meeting deadlines.
This contract is for a period of 12 months. All vendors interested in this bid will be required to
conduct a site visit, and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

|Current IT Set-up Used||The office staff utilize laptops and desktops with Windows 10 Pro installed. As a general rule, all full-time employees at the BMDP are assigned laptops or desktops. However, as the organization expands, there will be a need for purchasing, installing and supporting more laptops and/or desktop computers for temporary and seasonal staff. Vendors responding to this RFP will be expected to not only fulfill procurement orders, but also to facilitate the installation, testing and troubleshooting services as well. The BMDP office network is comprised of an Internet connection supplied by MyRepublic, and a consumer-based wireless access point.
